Chapter 6: Two Snobs, Two Babies, and Death

Does this happen in anyone else's game? Is this what Ambitions is supposed to be like- is this just a massive programming cock up regarding laundry, or is it me- am I forever doomed to live in glitch hell?



Hmph. Anyways, on a trip to Poppy's house, and after I'd *ahem* cheated and deleted all the honking laundry, Bellamy spent some time catching up with her friend. Oh, but Poppy wasn't the only one home that day...



Ah-ha, ah-ha- Dexter and Poppy are still together, now living together, AND married! Isn't it sweet? Enjoy being a third wheel eh Bells ;D



Yes, despite them being all grown-up-shaped and having proper lives and shiz, Bellamy and the gang still managed to find time to hang out together, which is just marvellous.



But even though her friendships were most shiny-buttoned and joyous, there was always one aspect of Bellamy's life that was sadly lacking.
Excluding the odd few rumbles in the jungle, Bellamy had never had a real long-term relationship... so maybe it was time to do something about that.



Well, death willing.



The last time Bellamy had met Mort she'd had a rather tough time of it. Sure, Mort was friendly and courteous, but the fact that he didn't immediately sweep Bellamy into his arms and invite her to have a slumber party in his basement was somewhat perturbing.
Nevertheless, Bellamy decided to invite Mort on a day out, and thankfully he said yes.



One lovely sunny day, Mort and Bellamy went out into the wilderness of Twinbrook.



Before long they settled down for a nice picnic (and this is seeming like the gayest narrative ever isn't it...)



In spite of the beautiful scenery and all that, Mort for some reason still remained mute. I don't know what's up with the kid- every time he comes out with Bell he just kind of sits there, smiles, and can't seem to bring himself to look at her.



Bellamy on the other hand couldn't keep her eyes off of the tall dark and handsome fella.



But in the end there was nothing left to do but nom.



After some food, Bellamy and Mort took a wander over to the bridge to gaze and the scenery and potentially play Pooh Sticks (you all know what that is right? Well, I guess it depends how young you are...)



As they stood and stared, Bellamy's eyes were once again fixated on the mystery of Mort, but try as she may she just couldn't get him to open up.

But then...







FINALLY.



Meanwhile, back at home there were other forms of bonding going on as Indigo and snotty BFF Tyron made fun of Humperdink for the millionth time...



Oh sure, they're the mean kids and that, but... I kind of love Indigo and Tyron. They're such a shower of bastards it's actually quite funny, and they are very sweet to each other.



On a similarly cute note, after their first kiss Bells and Mort continued to spend a lot of time together frolicking in the sun and that.



Aren't they just the cutest? As time went on Mort spent more and more time in the Heart household, though relations never got much further than holding hands...

They're taking things slowly, bless 'em ^_^



As Mort was in the house a lot, and as I have all-seeing mod powers, I was often able to take control of him and work on getting him some skills (albeit hidden ones).

On his quest for tattoo awesomeness, Mort first tried the scribbly-wibbly on an unsuspecting Bellamy.



Oh. Not good.



*sniggers*



It's a marvellous thing that Simmie laser tattoo removal- speedy as all get out.



Following this mammoth-sized cock up you would have thought that Mort had learnt his lesson, but nope- later that same day he was back at it again, this time drawing all over his bessie mate Wolfie.



Oops part two. Wolfie will make you pay for that, possibly by touching you in sensitive areas...



But all was forgiven just as soon as Mort had removed the offending tattoos and replaced them with some nice, more Wolfie-friendly ones.

Amends made, the BFF's settled down to thrash it out on the olde games console, as you do. Mort and Wolfie actually live together yanno, so now that Mort was spending a lot of time with Bellamy more often than not Wolfie came with.

Perhaps though he was beginning to feel a little too comfortable in the Heart household...



My god Wolfie, you shameless sexpest- Mort hasn't even seen his girlfriend naked yet so I don't think you should go first!



Oh, and it just gets worse. Step away from the under-age girl!



Later that day the extreme pervyness continued as one of Bellamy's clients decided to show their appreciation by, erm, staring at Bell's boobs...



...And then at her own.



...Yep, this is just disturbing.



Ahh, life as a hot happening stylist sure is a kick in the grits isn't it Bellamy? I sense some of that moody teenage attitude coming back...



Though maybe this time I can understand Bell's discord, given the scary mad clown makeover disaster victim staring at her.



Glitch or just cruelty I don't know, but that mad slap-addled nightmare stayed watching Bellamy for the next several hours.



Meanwhile, downstairs in the kitchen, Zuma was having a similar glitchy nightmare, one where she was stuck cooking for, well, I'm ashamed to say it was actually a good few days before I noticed her... *shame*

By the time I found poor Zuma she'd wet herself several times and was close to starving to death.



But fear not peeps, Zuma survived and was around to witness Indigo's transformation into a Young Adult, yippee!



Here we goes...



Ahh, snobtastic. Despite their differences, Bellamy was nice enough to give Indigo a makeover upon her transition.



Mm, I think Indigo's impressed with her new look. Egocentric little minx...



And oh joy, look who's back...



Yes, now that Indigo was all growed up she couldn't wait to invite Tyron over for, well, some... mutual appreciation.



Ooh la la.



And it seems that the posho love-in was having a knock-on effect elsewhere in the house as Mort and Bellamy finally got their embrace on.



By now the couple had been together for a good long time but had remained rather coy about their relationship; barely getting further than flirty glances and the odd snog. Now though, it was time for something entirely more physical.







Err but maybe you should wait until Winter's out of the way first eh guys?

...Guys?



GUYS?!



Oh no.



Ohhhh no.



Poor Winter. First electrocution and now this.



Someone else feeling the pressures of living in the Heart household was Tyron. After shacking up with Indigo, Tyron had moved in and was trying his best to adjust to life in legacyville, but it wasn't always easy...



I think the main problem was actually Humperdink. Like so many before him, Tyron just couldn't handle the presence of the metal shiny one, and so was often found freaking out whenever they came into contact.

Poor Humperdink, he just wants to be loved and understood :(



But don't feel too bad for him, because Humperdink was about to receive something very special courtesy of Bellamy's Klepto skills...



REUNITED AT LAST!



With Humperdink now once again occupied with his one true love, The Frappinator 3000, Tyron seemed to divert his mean impulses to a different target...



Hahaha, I mean, aww that's terrible.... *snickers*



Meanwhile Indigo continued to spend her days just, well, pissing away the time. She didn't have a job, instead she spent most of her time either preening or gossiping with her friend Saffron. Oh, what a life.



However, not everyone in Twinbrook was consumed with their own vapid existence. No, on a trip to Poppy and Dexter's house, Mort and Bellamy were thrilled to discover that the happily married couple now had a delightful new addition in the form of baby girl Meaghan Paxton.



And whilst she was there, Bell just couldn't resist trying to drum up a few sales.



Later that day, Mort and Bellamy went round to the Rotten household to visit Rachel, but for some reason she wasn't answering the door. After inspecting the premises through a side window it suddenly became clear why...



Christ, this baby thing is infectious. Say hello to Roma Rotten everyone. And heyyy, the father of the baby is actually Dexter's brother Elton, so that makes everyone related to Bellamy in some way, and it means that Meaghan and Roma are generation thirteen of the Mars bloodline. Yeesh.

Oh, time to solicit a few more services is it Bellamy? The woman's just had a baby for god's sake, give her a minute.

Ho well. Whilst Bellamy was off potentially damaging a few friendships by being a pusher, back at home the sudden baby outbreak was causing a few Sims to show their romantic sides...



Okay, so on first glance this scene doesn't seem particularly lovey-dovey, but perhaps if I explained the context then you'd understand. Y'see... this broad is actually Tyron's girlfriend :O

I know I know, you thought he was with Indigo right? Well, until recently she was actually nothing more than his fancy woman, but now times are a-changing.



With the cast-off, who's name I've completely forgotten, out of the way, Tyron all at once focused his entire ginger energy on the wonderous and beautious Indigo.



So much so that he felt ready to pop the question.



That's so like Indigo- your fiancé is there with his arms out waiting for a hug, but you're just too distracted by the massive rock on your finger. For shame!



Oh, but they are a sweet couple aren't they? ^_^



When night fell, Winter happened to pay the house a visit so Indigo was able to tell him her happy news- something along the lines of 'Daddy daddy, I'm about to be a trophy wife' I'm sure.



Meanwhile, Mort and Bellamy embraced each other in possibly the cutest way I've ever seen.



When all the Sims daily schedules were aligned and some freetime was available, the wedding of the century was held.



It was a relatively small but showy affair- Tyron and Indigo like having look-how-important-we-are-parties, but they don't actually have very many friends. I wonder why...



Well, that's just charming isn't it? *glares* Tyron you little skeeze.



Eventually though Tyron was able to pull himself together enough to exchange vows with his beloved.



And there you have it- Tyron and Indigo Skye; joined in holy matrimony forever and ever... unless one of them gets ugly and the other leaves- they're still shallow after all.



To the honeymoon!
