Chapter 9: The Good, The Bad, and The Creepish

A new generation means a whole new setting for the Heart family, as the household move into their brand new, awesome-o, specially-built-by-me home!



Mm, Cassidy looks just peachy in this new house doesn't he? And of course all the other members of the family moved with, but they're not quite as smexy as what's seen here, so we'll just focus on Cassidy for a bit alright?  ^_^



After scoping out the surroundings for a bit, soon Cassidy took himself to bed- for he had an important day to prepare for in the morning.

...Is anyone else somewhat distracted by the rather engaging bulge Cassie's packing?  o_o



Anyways, when morning came Cassidy got himself dressed up all kinds of fine as he ran off to start his exciting new career as a firefighter, yayyyyyyyyyyy.



Although, it wasn't exactly all rescuing children and battling infernos and having knickers thrown at you the first few days- mostly Cassidy just worked on his handiness skill by maintaining the fire engine and the like.



He also spent a lot of time looking delicious in the gym, but there was no one around to appreciate it as literally no one was there until about the fourth/fifth day of work, lazy co-workers...  : /



When some people finally did show up I immediately sent Cassidy to bond with them all, but my plans of a cosy chat and a cup of tea were hampered by the pant-wetting news that there was an emergency to tend to.



And tend to it they did- Cassidy and chums took care of that fire in style.



Following the blaze it was clocking-off time, so Cassidy invited fellow fireman Darwin Hayes out for a nice bite to eat at the local bistro.



And whilst there he tried out the awesome 'I'm a firefighter' flirt on the unsuspecting man.



Apparently it was very alluring  ;D



And speaking of which... back at the house, Humperdink was working on securing his relationship with Kaylee by proposing to her.



Can I just say I think it'd be much cooler if Simbots proposed by pulling some nuts and bolts off of their own bodies and using that for a ring? Just a suggestion.



But yeyyyyyyyy, Humperdink and Kaylee are getting married!



In preparation for the joining of lives, Kaylee got acquainted with her soon-to-be stepson Abel... which is just a bit weird really isn't it?



After the proposal Kaylee moved in, so the next few days were spent... well, I'd like to say in romantic bliss, but mainly my Sims just glitched out and got stuck together as usual  >: /

Consequently, I spent my time away from the house and with Cassidy as he worked on his career.



The drill was the same as usual- do some skilling, do some socialising, and occasionally head off in the sexy fire engine to hopefully not get burnt to death. To be honest though, all we got were 'small house fires', so there wasn't much chance of things going wrong.



I did have one scare though when Cassidy and Darwin were fighting a fire and the damn cooker exploded  O_O It scared the bejesus out of me to be honest- I thought my boy had got himself all blowed-up.



But luckily Cassidy survived the explosion and went on to fight many, many more fires, and always by his side was Darwin. Now I know what you're thinking- probably the same as me really. Darwin's a sexy guy, Cassidy's a sexy guy who likes sexy guys, let's make some magic happen right? Pah, if only it were that easy...



Oh Cassidy, why can't you just play nice?



Yep, unfortunately for Darwin, Cassidy's an Evil little bugger at times, and he just can't resist trying to scare the crap out of everyone he meets.



And this situation was made all the worse by the discovery that Darwin was in fact Good. Yep, these two clash in a major way, mainly cause Cassidy can't help teasing poor Darwin mercilessly.



I tried, really I tried to help them out, but every time as soon as I turned my back there Cassidy would be- taunting Darwin. I fully expected him to start pulling his hair and calling him a sissy at any moment, or at least thumping Darwin on the arm and running back to his friends, giggling. This is not how you get who you want Cassidy!



Aww, and Darwin always looked so hurt when Cassidy picked on him, it was really quite sad  :(



But I don't think Cassidy noticed any, cause at a moments notice he could find himself in bed with all manner of eligible bachelors, and I guess that was a good distraction.



But at least some Sims in my game are getting it right. Here's Humperdink and Kaylee cementing the foundations of their love, or something like that, as they got married.



...It's an unconventional partnership alright, but a successful one nonetheless.



Now following Humperdink and Kaylee's marriage I did plan to boot them from the house cause things are pretty crowded by now and I don't think it helps the glitches. However, as part of the family legacy I need a ice sculpture of Cassidy to sit handsomely in the house, and as Abel was Artistic it was down to him to make it happen. Come on Abel, SKILL SKILL SKILL!



Whilst Abel was busy with his task I had to find other ways to free up room... Now I must be honest, I'm a bad Simmer... *shifty eyes* Leischen has kind of been neglected in this household, so much so that I failed to notice her skipping school, and consequently she flunked out. Oops!

I guess her birthday couldn't have been more timely- by now the poor girl was probably desperate to escape my cackhanded clutches.



Well, here she is as a Young Adult then.

...As an extra special treat would you like to see how Leischen would look if she wasn't a reaper child?



Wowsers trousers. Pale totally suits her.



Ah, goodbye then Leischen- I'm sorry Cassidy's such a time-hog and he took all the attention off of you.



So as you know, Leischen was booted cause, well, I didn't have much time for her, and I could do with more space in the house. That was the plan anyways.

Apparently an amorous robot/human couple had other ideas...



And you thought it wasn't possible for Simbots to have kids right? Well anything is possible in a DowhatthefuckIwantacy, especially when you have wicked mods  ;)



O_O Don't worry Kaylee, I'm sure it wont be an actual robot baby that scratches its way out... Please?



In preparation for the oncoming sprog, Humperdink spent a lot of time tending to his ever-expanding wife.



Well, that and doing The Robot in the park whilst Kaylee read pregnancy books.



Cassidy meanwhile was doing some extreme stalking at work... I don't know if he's trying to intimidate Darwin or if he's checking him out.



Even though they are in fact polar opposites, I wouldn't blame Cassie for wanting a piece of the Darwin. Working together, day after day, fighting fires... it must get pretty HOT yanno?



But regardless of Cassidy's intentions, I was determined to make he and Darwin friends. However, after inviting him over to the house, Cassie just buggered off to work out, and to my surprise it was Mort who pounced on the guy and tried to befriend him- though mainly he was just eager to show off his new automagic tattoo machine.



...I am concerned.



Christ on a bike... The tattoo looks like a penis with an eye on the top being eaten by a hungry vagina...



Unfortunately for Darwin there wasn't much time to fix the tattoo error(s), as right at that moment Kaylee went into labour.



And of course Humperdink was by her side as always.



So my friends, shall we take a looksie at the very first human/Simbot baby?



Oh good god. It looks... deformed.



But putting aside the alarm bells ringing in my ears for a moment, I turned my attention back to Mort and Darwin as they fixed the dodgy tattoos and replaced them with nice ones.



Perhaps though I should have been keeping my eye on the creepy baby (who's named Evie by the way) as, only a few seconds after she'd been placed on the ground, the dastardly devil Cassidy decided to steal some candy from her.



You should be ashamed of yourself.



ASHAMED!



But luckily for Evie both her mom, dad, and half-brother Abel were there to take care of her, and even Darwin spent some time looking after the girl- completely unprovoked by me I might add.



It's a good job that the family were quite close-knit, because it was about to get smaller...



Erm, Bellamy? Bells- you might want to go to the other room and see your husband, you know, for one last time?!



Aww, poor Mort didn't want to leave- it was heartbreaking.



Oh that's really fucking nice Casual Grimmeh. Has anyone else ever had the Grim Reaper point and laugh at the soul he's there to harvest? That's just mean  >: (



And you're not much help either Abel- you're not meant to bond with death.



Oh for fucks sake...



Meanwhile, back in the other room, Bellamy finally realised her husband had just passed away, and immediately burst into tears... then carried on gaming  >_<



And across the hallway, Humperdink and Kaylee were honouring death by creating life.



For the next few days life went on in earnest. Cassidy continued to work hard and had reached level 7 of the firefighting career, with Darwin as his second in command as always.



But, with the death of his father weighing heavily on his mind, Cassidy began to think that maybe there could be other uses for Darwin other than teasing him and using him as a human shield when they fought fires...



Yes, as Darwin was a good, kind-hearted individual he wasted no time in consoling Cassidy and trying to make him feel better.



And Cassidy was surprised to realise that he needed this, and that it meant a lot.











But if you thought that this would be it- that one heartfelt hug would be the making of these two, then you are sadly mistaken. Cassidy too was a blind optimist, and immediately wished to kiss Darwin, but it just wasn't happening. I think Darwin's still feeling a bit hurt after weeks of teasing, and so he's not giving it up that easily.



Sorry Cassie, but you've got a ton of grovelling to do.



But we interrupt Cassidy's struggle for a tumble as we bring you some very distressing news. As you know, repomen are nothing new to my legacy, and even now- even whilst living in a very nice house indeed, my Sims just can't seem to manage to pay their bills. Now, most of the time I just *ahem* delete the repoman, but this time he sneaked in when I was at Cassidy's work, and stole the statue of Winter!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.



It was a bitter pill to swallow, as by this point Abel had just completed the required skills, and so was able to fashion a beautiful statue of young Cassidy. Now though, instead of being able to move them out, imma have to keep the Simbot family around in the hope that Winter's ghost will appear, and Abel will be able to sculpt that. Hmph.



Now wonder Cassidy's statue looks pissed...



Oh well, at least with Humperdink and fam still living in the house I'll be able to oversee the birth of their next child.



And it seems like the child is going to need all the help it can get in order to survive gestation, as apparently Kaylee has no understanding of etiquette for pregnant women...



Oh, and apparently Kaylee has no concept of etiquette for bereaved widows either, as she was more than happy to scare the crap out of poor Bellamy. She's not even Evil or Mean Spirited or Inappropriate, so I don't know where the hell that desire came from...



With parents like Kaylee and Humperdink, I really do wonder how this child is going to turn out.



o_O  *is mildly terrified*



With Evie only just grown up to a toddler there wasn't much time to adjust as Kaylee went into labour again.



Humperdink took the part of doting husband, and immediately zoomed Kaylee off to hospital.



Whilst Abel took care of his little sis. Before long a baby was born, and the family gathered to welcome the proud parents home.



What the fudge! Er, Kaylee, is there anything you want to tell me? Care to explain how you've managed to produce a brown baby?!

I think by the look on Kaylee's face she's not happy about it either, but let's not be racist! Let's just invite Kaysar into the family with open arms.



It's the cirrrrrrrrrrrrrrcle of lifeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I guess irony isn't wasted on Bellamy, who decided to up and die barely a few minutes after Kaysar was born.



And once again that smug self-satisfied git Casual Grimmeh showed up, as all of the household ran to say goodbye to our beautious second generation heiress Bellamy.



We can never just have a normal quiet death in this house can we?



Hey hey, check it people- my first shiny golden urn  :D Bellamy achieved a lot with her life, so I think it was just her time to go.



NO CASSIDY DON'T DO IT!



Come on now my lovely, I know your parents are dead and it's upsetting, but it's okay- you can live on in their name.



Ahh, see. That's it, you go to Darwin- he'll help you through this terrible time.



Why you sneaky little... You're not upset at all! You just want some man-love, you shameless hussy. Well... good luck to you.



You know I consider Darwin jumping into bed with Cassidy unannounced a very good sign.



I guess we'll just have to see what happens.
